Purpose

Red River Writers is designed to serve as an online gathering place for writers from Shreveport, Louisiana and the surrounding region. Currently, Red River Writers provides a place for writers to post samples of their work along with contact or ordering information, a forum for communicating between writers or with readers, frequently updated news about developments in the local literary community, and a host of resources, links, and event information.
This website is not intended to be competitive. We will post writing samples without comment or critique. The sole purpose of this website is to allow local writers to introduce themselves to other writers and readers.
Red River Writes is free of ads or popup windows, except for what may appear in external links or on the guestbook or forum. We strive to provide a quality website in every way and encourage user feedback.

Access to Red River Writers is free and therefore we promise no results or sales from the use of the website. We also wash our hands of any trouble you may get yourself into using it.
